Augustus and Ollie (aka, the Ging or Ginger) have been awaiting the arrival of spring anxiously. They monitor changes in sunrise and sunset, chanting of birds, behavior of squirrels, and people, naturally. Although there is not much of a change in weather in southern California, these two wise felines are atuned to the movements of the planets and stars and moons. One might say that they are wizards.
In the shots below, I have captured the many meditative looks of Augustus, and at the very end I have shown a blurry picture of Ollie who grew some oat grass in celebration of the New Spring and the Ancient Persian New Year.
