A fruitful day...

A later than usual walk down the street,

mommy found the two cat boys motionless under this bush. If you try hard you will see Ollie bird on the left, Gussy Gus on the right and there is a little pesky squirrel in the center field. He cannot get away this time,

so his buddy from the adjacent tree tries to create a distraction.

August really does not want to leave but I urge him to give up the little squirt. I think climbing is a better exercise than staring at a squeaky squirrel.

So we have a little cat and squirrel going here while Ollie remains in the first bush. He holds a grudge for as long as possible.

August thinks that it is not too dignified to play this game for too long so he talks to me,

and apparently, Ollie could not agree more. 'Enough is enough', they say.

Time to head back home because we have readings to read, num nums to eat, and later on we will nap.

Strain every nerve to acquire both inner and outer perfections, for the fruit of the human tree hath ever been and will ever be perfections both within and without. It is not desirable that a man be left without knowledge or skills, for he is then but a barren tree. Then, so much as capacity and capability allow, ye needs must deck the tree of being with fruits such as knowledge, wisdom, spiritual perception and eloquent speech.

And while the fruits of human tree are knowledge, skills, and perfections, for the already knowledgeable, skillful, and perfect cats, the fruits of interest are birds and squirrels, little mousies and other treats.

Wishing all a fruitful day, and many cat kisses,

Ciao!
