Rapidly changing landscapes...

I was telling the cat boys about this distant magical land full of birds, butterflies, corn and wild turkeys! So distant in space and so close in time!
It was not a vacation_it was only a visit! And if I wanted to get romantic about it I easily could but there was no point to it. I treasured the visit in the gladness of my heart.

I don't know why but seeing fields of orderly corn make me smile. Cat boys told me that they felt the same way, and that they wished they could run through the corn!

Nearby horses were waiting for
the sunset.
Back home in sunny southern california I could not complain about the fuschia flowers
and I was more than pleased to see Mr Puffy Pants
and Mr Sweet Pants! Senor Dulce Pantalones!
Furry bundle of love Ollie
and furry love bundle Augustus!
"Yup, that's you I am talking about".
"And you too!"
I flipped through some quotes here and there because the cat boys were waiting and I found this for our reflections:

"O my Servants! Could ye apprehend with what wonders of My munificence and bounty I have willed to entrust your souls, ye would, of a truth, rid yourselves of all attachment to all created things, and would gain a true knowledge of your own selves- a knowledge which is the same as the comprehension of Mine own Being. Ye would find yourselves independent of all else but Me, and would perceive, with your inner and outer eye, and as manifest as the revelation of My effulgent Name, the seas of My loving-kindness and bounty moving within you."
-Baha'u'llah, Persian Prophet

Cat boys went aahhh and then made big pawfuls of kisses which they blew in the air for you. Happy weekend everyone!

Ciao!

  5. Carolina- you are visiting the US? I wish you would visit ME. The cornfields were in Nebraska! Great seeing you. xo

Hannah- I have missed you so much, the poetry. I was at Mahoney State Park between Lincoln and Omaha. It was corn in all directions. And yes, it was great to come back to those kitties, the sitter had complaints that they had been naughty! xo

  6. Mona,
I would LOVE to visit you and the boys but this time we're traveling from Detroit down to Memphis. (Music journey) I'm sure we'll visit California in the future as we love to travel in the US. We were in SF 2 years ago and loved it!
