His reputation...a pussy cat?

Out in the courtyard, hiding in the shade, yesterday early evening, I am on the cellphone, Gussy's stare leads me to

this fellow who is eating fruits in the most carefree manner. He was munching away for a long time and it finally dawned on me that
Mr Squirrel no longer fears our cats because he is sure they won't hurt him. He goes straight up to Ollie, aka, Mr Puffy Pants
and wiggles his tail at him!!!
Ollie is not moving because of the back and forth of noisy movers in the courtyard that has him
quite annoyed. "You are gonna get it...", I heard him mumble.
Gustopher Jones glances a tough-cat look...
but soon is distracted by the leaves and relaxes himself by sniffing the tips.
He comes out of hiding and tells me that he is ready to read!!!
I always gasp with amazement!

I should have found a quote on "reputation", something to the effect that Ollie's reputation to be a pussy cat has emboldened the squirrels but they don't know that although he is a pussy cat, he is not a Pussy Cat! I could not find one but I could easily find one about love to indicate how much I love these boys...

A butterfly for their fuzzy hearts...

Proud with his recent squirrel chase, Mr Puffy Pants is on the lookout, looking out to the left and to the right! Things looked promising...the same budding tree, and the same blue skies as the day of the squirrel chase! Brother Augustus who has a keen eyesight spots a little white butterfly in the rose patch He gets on the ground and flaps his arms around to tell Ollie that he has spotted a butterfly... In no time Puffy Pants and Gussy Gus assume the butterfly hunt pose! After some trying one kitty loses interest and chooses to simply watch the butterfly while the other kitty, My Puffy Pants appears to be falling in love! The butterfly did not fall prey and we ended up discussing a rather long reading, which gave them much satisfaction...

Though exhausted from all the jumping around and reading, the little cat boys felt very prosperous, and generous kitties that they are, they filled their paws with as many kisses as it was felinely possible, and blew them in the air for all.

It was an ordinary day!

The skies were blue,

the overly trimmed coral tree was showing signs of new life,

we were having discourses of spiritual significance and looking for trouble at the same time.

Here's Ollie waiting in his rose garden hiding spot,

and here's Augustus discussing something with Thomas the cat by telepathy!

It did not take very long for TROUBLE to arrive,

we think he is carrying a nut under his arm!

Mr Puffy Pants is ready to play...

Oh oh... better watch out for the squirrel...

At this time Gussy thinks that he should perhaps take a close up look at the situation...

He looks at me,

and then Puffy Pants looks at me, so proud!
This is just way too entertaining

maybe we can hope for another chase
or maybe we should let him go!

and Ollie were both pleased.
So we read:

The cat boys felt especially energized and soothed at the same time. All this action and meditation felt good to them. They filled their paws with as many kisses as they could muster up and blew them in the air for all. They wished all a lovely September of 2010.
