Kitties, Flowers, Fruits and Friends....A Visit to SLC

A rapid jaunt over to Salt Lake to spend time with friends was refreshing to our wearied city bodies. Salt Lake seems like a village when compared with our way-too-big Los Angeles!

It was a weekend of all things pleasant :

Deep blue skies of SaltLake

A Painted chair in friend's backyard

A plate of fruits

Flowers. plants. flowers....

Giant poppy flower...
Another shade of poppy...so gorgeous!

Driving to Sundance wondering if we are going to see Robert (Redford?)
Waterfall at Sundance...
Breaking for lunch...

And during the entire 2.5 days, our minds were always partly on these dudes who stayed home with a live-in kitty sitter! We ran back to hug and kiss these furry dudes

who seemingly have approved of the live-in kitty sitter! Whew, what a relief! Furthermore, kitty boys continued with their daily read in our absence. August told me that he and Ollie discussed this:

O SON OF BEAUTY!
By My spirit and by My favor! By My mercy and by My beauty! All that I have revealed unto thee with the tongue of power, and have written for thee with the pen of might, hath been in accordance with thy capacity and understanding, not with My state and the melody of My voice.

I am speechless...what are they telling me?!!!

There's a lot more to share but all will have to wait. Kitty boys have promised to help me make a chemistry exam for my class! Kitty kisses and love purrs to all! Have a great week!

Ciao!

It's always nice to get back to the boys, isn't it? They welcome you back in the nicest way. ;-)

  4. Thanks for stopping by Christina...I was surprised with all the flowers but heard that they have warm water pipes under the ground around the temple and that is why they have beautiful flowers there! Here in Pasadena we have Jabob Maarse florists! PS-I love your work! : )
