This past Saturday, Ollie came running...

to tell me that Augustus was walking Sylvester, aka my dear husband
(ps-kitties call him Sylvester because it rolls of their tongues better)

Actually, I had asked Sylvester to walk Augustus and things got turned around! Ollie and I were filled with amazement!

Later we all reflected upon this:

"O CHILDREN OF ADAM!
Holy words and pure and goodly deeds ascend unto the heaven of celestial glory. Strive that your deeds may be cleansed from the dust of self and hypocrisy and find favor at the court of glory; for ere long the assayers of mankind shall, in the holy presence of the Adored One, accept naught but absolute virtue and deeds of stainless purity. This is the daystar of wisdom and of divine mystery that hath shone above the horizon of the divine will. Blessed are they that turn thereunto."
Hidden Words

Days are rolling by fast...kitties keep blowing kisses in the air for their friends...enjoy, enjoy!

Ciao!

  2. I find this quite endearing: the reflection and the Sylvester walk. The hidden words speak to me too, all your ponderings have some treasure to glean from them... I swear just by visiting I am absorbing, by osmosis, the purity of your brilliant mind. {sheesh, I wish}

  5. Hmm and I thought only dogs qualified as personal trainers.

    I'm so mad at myself, actually I was dumfounded when I saw a woman walking a kitten on a leash on the shoreline. I had my camera but I think I may have been in shock because I didn't snap a picture.

    xo,

  6. My dad tells a cute story about the difference between dogs and cats.

    A dog looks at his owner and thinks, "He brings me food when I'm hungry, water when I'm thirsty, and takes care of me when I'm sick. He must be a god!"

    A cat looks at his owner and thinks,
    "He brings me food when I'm hungry, water when I'm thirsty, and takes care of me when I'm sick. I must be a god!"

    Quite true :).
