We were visiting the plains....

where they have blue skies

that are sometimes like this

and the neighborhood is like this

where one house has an inviting patio like this

and a kitchen like this

We visited this little dude, named Fugus, our first one, now living with the grandparents

and with his precious brother Filmore.

And we looked at the sky again through this tree!

Aaah! It was clean, quiet, and peaceful!

The city cats were not about to fly and so they stayed home and read and meditated.

Augustus told me that they read from the Gleanings the following passage:

Far, far from Thy glory be what mortal man can affirm of Thee, or attribute unto Thee, or the praise with which he can glorify Thee! Whatever duty Thou hast prescribed unto Thy servants of extolling to the utmost Thy majesty and glory is but a token of Thy grace unto them, that they may be enabled to ascend unto the station conferred upon their own inmost being, the station of the knowledge of their own selves.

We were speechless.

Sending all muchas kisses from los gatas!

  1. ...are yoU sure...they meditated...& read...while yoU were away...R U...?

  2. Le sigh! Absolutely gorgeous. You were definitely on a higher plane. Happy weekend to you and los gatas.

  3. ; ) Nancy, I heard a lot of meowing from behind the door and decided they were discussing readings. THey may have been plotting an escape!

LBR, It was so nice to not be surrounded by 10 million people....and to go to a coffee shop and find a place to sit.

    Happy Weekend to both!
