'Is this Weary Wednesday?'

the cat boys ask me. Smoke is everywhere, well not big smoke but the smell of the burning Los Angeles fire is in the sky. No animals around for the cat boys to chase, no dogs there for them to taunt, no squirrels, no birds. What are they to do? Augustus has been complaining, little discontented meows. They wanted to know if it could get more boring and I assured them that it could.
So the three of us sit on one side of the street for a little while,
and then we go to the other side.

Gussy and Ginger check a few automobiles,

and look back to the other side.

We agree that this was a perfect time to read. The little boys sit even though the air is nasty. They are listening carefully.

I chose the topic of craftsmanship because I like to interest the boys in crafts although they much prefer yoga and gymnastics. Here's what we read:

"One of the names of God is the Fashioner. He loveth craftsmanship. Therefore any of His servants who manifesteth this attribute is acceptable in the sight of this Wronged One. Craftsmanship is a book among the books of divine sciences, and a treasure among the treasures of His heavenly wisdom. This is a knowledge with meaning, for some of the sciences are brought forth by words and come to an end with words."(Baha'u'llah in Compilation of compilations)

The boys really enjoyed the reading and decided to return home to discuss it among themselves.

A smoke-free Wednesday to all embellished with cat kisses...
Ciao!
